GFB’s DV+ diverter valve range offers a direct-fit performance solution for the weak factory diverter valves used on many modern vehicles.

The T9382 is an alternative to GFB's T9352 and T9353 DV+, designed as a complete drop-in replacement for the OEM diverter valve in Mini, Peugeot, and Citroen vehicles. It features a low-profile integrated solenoid, meaning that it does not require the OEM diverter to be disassembled and the solenoid re-used as is the case on the T9352 and T9353. This design therefore simplifies installation, and is particularly useful when the OEM solenoid has failed completely.

As an additional benefit, the low-profile integrated solenoid results in a compact design that fits in the factory location without additional hose runs or brackets, providing a cleaner and simpler installation on N18 engines compared to the T9353 DV+.

As for performance, because the DV+ features a carefully selected spring rate AND spring pre-load adjustment, it can operate progressively to help sharpen throttle response. This is the basis of GFB’s TMS principle, which has been shown to reduce the time to peak boost on gearshift by 30%. This benefit is also particularly noticeable in situations where you are modulating the throttle to balance the car in a corner.

 

By retaining the factory ECU control and recirculating the vented air, the DV+ is a purely performance-oriented product that offers the following benefits:

  • Faster boost recovery on gearshift or brief throttle lift

  • All Mini models with the N14 and N18 1.6 Turbo engine
  • All Peugeot and Citroën models with the Prince (PSA) 1.6 Turbo engine
