The MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure) supports an absolute pressure of 3.5 bars, equivalent to a 2.5 bar boost pressure. It measures the air pressure in the intake manifold and transmits this information to the ECU to calculate the amount of fuel to be injected.
This ultra-precise sensor is particularly recommended for use with AEM ECU solutions. It is manufactured in stainless steel of high quality and has a 1/8 NPT thread (-4 4/16 adapters supplied, see photo).
