Modular floor

The plastic modular floor is a type of tile system intended for covering garage, workshop or exhibition floors. These tiles are made of high-strength and durable plastic and are designed to withstand heavy loads, high or low temperatures and the wear and tear of everyday use. The 40x40cm tiles use a system of interlocking parts that firmly connect the tiles or the edges attached to them. The height of the floor is 18 mm, which ensures sufficient resistance for pedestrians or the installation of furniture or the movement of vehicles up to 40 tons. In addition to mechanical resistance, the floor also resists chemicals, fuels and solvents. It also maintains its resistance to UV radiation, which makes it an ideal product for outdoor applications where there is direct sunlight.

You can choose from a wide range of colors which allows you to create your own look. Whether you prefer a sleek black-and-white checkerboard design or vibrant colours, the options are endless. You can even create patterns or highlight specific areas of your garage, such as a workspace or parking space. The floor has a non-slip shape with the RS logo in the central cube. This design allows dirt to pass through the floor and thus the surface always remains clean. Cleaning is carried out by vacuuming, ideally with a brush attachment, which allows dirt to be vacuumed from the gaps of the floor without the need for disassembly or by rinsing with water under pressure.

The floor edges are finished with a plastic bevel edge and rounded corners, which allow easy access to the floor with a vehicle or equipment. For installation around the entire floor, female and male edges are required, therefore, half of the floor has a male end and half has a female end. These edges can also be ordered in 3 different colours.

Before buying, you need to calculate the required m2. Each tile has dimensions of 400 mm x 400 mm, which when combined with nine tiles represents 1.44 m2 of floor. The tiles can be cut with a jigsaw, so it can adapt to any finish. We recommend thoroughly cleaning the covered substrate of dirt and dust and installing the floor on a dry and flat surface. Tiles are laid from one side to the other according to the orientation of the interlocking hooks and eyes. The available colours allow you to install different colour combinations or patterns, which will make your garage or the environment in which the floor is installed special.
