Coating System VHT provides a high-performance coating system for the ultimate in protection and quality.

VHT Caliper Paint has been specifically designed for the custom detailing of brake components. It is heat resistant to 482°C (900°F) intermittent and will not chip, crack, fade or rust even under extremes of operation or road and weather conditions. It is easy to apply, dries quickly and is remarkably resistant. Careful preparation is essential.

 

Product specification:

VHT Caliper Paint only attains its unique properties after correct curing. Please note that brake fluid will remove uncured paint if it comes in contact with the surface.

Volume: 312g (11oz)
Colour: Real Red

 

Temperature resistance: 482°C (900°F) Intermittent
Dry time: Dries to touch in 30 mins. Dries thoroughly overnight.
Suitable for: Brake Calipers, Rotors, Brake Drums

 

On the vehicle:

  • Paint must be dry for 2 hours before vehicle can be driven
  • The inherent heat of the braking operation will accomplish curing under normal driving conditions

    •  

    Off the vehicle:

  • Bake at 93°C (200°F) for 1 hour
  • Reassemble after components have cooled

    Myslel jsem, že jde o top produkt, ale bohužel. Barva po nástřiku a dostatečném vytvrzení (sušení přímotopem a několik dní bez provozu) nemá žádnou mechanickou odolnost a při provozu se spálila a zčernala (na trati jsem byl jak dýmovnice). Obyč černá barva na komíny vydrží daleko víc.
