MLX - the head gasket offers a unique shape that creates a sealing ring around the combustion chamber. The sealing ring ensures durability, ensuring maximum sealing performance where it is most important. The stainless steel outer layer is coated with a high temperature and chemical resistant polymer. PTFE (Teflon) topcoat helps with etch and cold seal resistance. MLX head gaskets are available for most stock and racing cars. As with all Cometic MLS / MLX head gaskets, no additional sealants or re-tightening after installation are required.
