Competition Intercooler Kit EVO 2 for VW T5.1 2,5TDI

The competition intercooler has the following core size (670mm x 302mm x 75mm = 15.175cm³), providing a 40% larger frontal cooling surface and 229% more volume compared to the stock mounted intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in increased flow rating and charge cooling properties. The new developed competition intercooler core supports a very high ratio of airflow and is also very light. The weight of the complete intercooler is only 8,9kg. The endtanks are made ??of cast aluminum and have been optimized under flow analyzes in the CFD system. With the help of additional air guides, inside the inlet, an uniform filling of the intercooler is provided. The stock click connections have been eleminated and increased to a connection diameter of Ø65mm for in- and outlet. The results are excellent cooling properties with minimum pressure drop. All of our intercooler use an anti corrosion protective coating with perfect thermal heat dissapating character. It is mounted to the original mounting points and is easy to perform (1:1 exchange). Optimum cooling of the charged air with a clear increase in performance!
