The BMW Competition Intercooler Kit EVO III has the following core dimensions (510mm x 303mm x 180mm / stepped, 20,65L)(20Inch x 11,9Inch x 7,09Inch / stepped, 1260,14Inch³) . The high performance intercooler core provides a 162% larger frontal area and 182% more volume compared to the stock mounted intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the endtank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in increased flow rating and charge cooling properties. We use our award winning WAGNERTUNING Competition Intercooler Core which is made specifically for this application. Constructed of the highest quality Tube Fin intercooler cores with inside turbulators combined with cast aluminum endtanks optimized by CFD for best possible internal airflow. The stock click connections have been eleminated and increased to a connection diameter of Ø70mm/2,756Inch ( for In- and Outlet, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties and a lot less pressure drop then the stock intercooler. Despite of it´s size the weight of the complete intercooler is only 13,2kg. This Intercooler Kit is the best choice when it comes to performance gains and low intake temperatures and also the right thing for racing. All of our intercooler use an anti corrosion protective coating with perfect thermal heat dissapating character. Optimal cooling with clearly more power. Kit is ready for installation, 100% perfect fit. Easy installation, only some little adjustments at the plastic cooler support are necessary. All of our products undergo rigorous quality control.
