Meguiars ScratchX 2.0, wax polisher, 207 ml

Meguiar's developed the ScratchX 2.0 product for light local damage to the paintwork, abrasions and scratches, additionally reinforced with polymer wax for perfect protection, which you provide to the paintwork directly during polishing. Always have it at hand for quick removal of local surface defects. Competing products often either only hide defects or damage the surface of the paint.

Its composition was specially designed for quick manual application. With it, you can remove fine, isolated scratches, damage from nails, especially in the area under door handles, as well as scratches from doors next to parked cars. Unique micro-abrasives remove these damages quickly, and at the same time, they are completely safe for all types of glossy paints. It is not just a short-term masking of the damaged area, but a real, proper removal.

Suitable for removing:

Application procedure - manually:

• Shake well.
• Work on a car body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
• Apply a dime-sized amount of product to the foam applicator and rub it completely into the applicator to moisten the surface.
• Afterwards, add a drop the size of a cherry and apply it to the surface.
• Work on a surface of max. 50 x 50 cm, in a circular motion, in a grid manner.
• When working, use medium to moderate pressure, depending on the degree of paint damage.
• The polish contains wax, so let it set on the paint after application.
• Wipe off the remains of the polish with a microfiber towel X1906 Meguiar's Supreme Finishing Towel, X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel or E101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel.
• If the result is not sufficient, you can repeat the procedure.
• Avoid contact with rubber and plastic strips!

Application procedure - by machine (orbital polisher):

• Shake well.
• Work on a car body that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
• Use a red foam pad (G3507 for DA Power System or DFC5 or DFC6 for DA polisher).
• Use 3-4 drops of the product the size of a cherry on a well-primed pad (see instructions for using polishing wheels).
• Work with medium to higher pressure, on an area of max. 50 x 50 cm, speed 4800–5800 RPM.
• Apply in a grid pattern, 3-6 strokes (depending on the hardness of the paint and the degree of damage).
• The polish contains wax, so let it set on the paint after application.
• Wipe off product residue with X1906 Meguiar's Supreme Finishing Towel, X2010 Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel, or E101 Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel.
• If necessary, repeat the procedure.
