This EGT probe kit consists of an exhaust temperature sensor, its weld bung, and an electrical connector/loom. Unlike most exhaust temperature sensors, it consists of a single K-type thermocouple, and the probe is made of platinum (in a protective tube made of Inconel).

This EGT probe kit consists of an exhaust temperature sensor, its weld bung, and an electrical connector/loom. Unlike most exhaust temperature sensors, it consists of a single K-type thermocouple, and the probe is made of platinum (in a protective tube made of Inconel).
This gives an unprecedented performance; the signal of the sensor is linear from -40°C to 1000°C (200 to 849 Ohms), with high accuracy and protection from outside factors (air flow, humidity, etc.) to achieve very rapid temperature changes.
