FORGE T3 turbo blanket

The turbo blanket also fits some internally gated turbo and is not limited to the above application list. This turbo blanket is designed to isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger insulating the hot side of the turbo’s compressor housing, ensuring the cold sides work to their optimum efficiency.

This design has been created to work in the harshest of environments and has proven to withstand temperatures up to 2500 °F or 1370°C of radiant heat, which will assist in protecting and prolonging the life of engine components. Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger away from the cool side and the intake path, which helps reduce turbo lag and air intake temperatures resulting in more power.

Please note that a turbo blanket will lose its flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures, so once fitted, it should not be routinely removed as this can cause damage to the blanket.
